Traversing the
Brooklyn Bridge
Among the 789 bridges from NYC, the most famous
of these is the Brooklyn Bridge, opened in 1883.
Spanning the East River between Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan, its high calcareous
and granite gothic towers make it a cable-stayed suspension bridge most recognizable.
Take 30 minutes to walk its 1,13 miles
(1,82 kilometers) in the direction of Manhattan in Brooklyn.
